Task 5 -Meet with the Park and Recreation Commission to Review Concept Master Plans <br />Present concept plans to staff and the Park Commission in a worksession style meeting. Provide <br />measurable criteria for evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the plan alternatives. Provide <br />rough cost estimate comparison between plans. Facilitate with staff the process to generate <br />consensus on a preferred concept design direction for the park. <br />Task 6 -Develop the Park Master Plan <br />Develop a detailed graphic master plan based on the preferred concept design direction. Plan to <br />include all proposed park improvements clearly drawn to scale and depicting general grading, <br />play areas, trails, native trees, shrubs, and grasses, lighting, shelters, water recreation, <br />piers boardwalks, signage, and any other design elements that evolve through the planning <br />process. <br />Generate an itemized preliminary cost estimate for the proposed improvements. <br />Present the detailed master plan with related costs to staff and the Park Commission for review <br />and approval subsequent to a Public Hearing. Incorporate any final Commission <br />recommendations into the final park master plan. <br />Present master plan to City Council for additional work direction. <br />Task 7 -Document the Planning Results <br />Compile the Master Plan drawings including the Site Analysis, Service Area Analysis, Concept <br />Plans, and Park Master Plan drawings into a reduced color report of either 8 %i" x 11" or 11" x <br />17" format and submit 20 copies to City staff, as well as a digitized file. <br />
