PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />6.01: Wildlife Research —14485 Azurite Street NW — Conditional Use Permits for Outdoor <br />Storage and Multiple Principal Structures on One Lot <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Gengler called the public hearing to order at 6:32 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Planning Manager Larson presented the staff report stating that staff recommends approval of the <br />Conditional Use Permit. <br />Citizen Input <br />No comments. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Lubarski, to close the public hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Gengler, Commissioners Bauer, Lubarski, Allshouse, <br />Cochrane, Musgrove, and Sanoe. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br />Chairperson Gengler closed the public hearing at 6:37 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Chairperson Gengler asked for more information on the outdoor storage and whether it is enclosed. <br />Planning Manager Larson replied that the outdoor storage area is enclosed and provided additional <br />details. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Lubarski, to recommend that City <br />Council approve a Conditional Use Permit for Exterior Storage and Multiple Principal Structures <br />on a Lot at 14485 Azurite Street NW. <br />Further discussion <br />Commissioner Musgrove commented that she is happy to see that the business is able to expand <br />and make use of vacant property. <br />Planning Commission/ July 23, 2026 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />
