WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on August 27, 2026, to review the <br />Preliminary Plat; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended the City Council approve/deny the two <br />variances and Preliminary Plat; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Preliminary Plat on September 10, 2026. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramsey City <br />Council hereby grants approval of the Preliminary Plat for Rum River Retreat in accordance with <br />relevant City Codes, subject to the following conditions: <br />a) Approval from the Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization. <br />b) The Applicant enters into a Development Agreement with the City. <br />c) Removal of existing detached accessory buildings associated with the current parcel of 17400 <br />Erkium Street. <br />d) Compliance with City Staff's review comments. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this 8t' day of <br />September, 2026. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />RESOLUTION #26-188 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
