Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Johns, Commissioners LaMere, Olds, Shryock, and Rolfe. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Cook, Commissioner Ostrum. COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT • Note: Report on Elmcrest Park Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos noted this project is progressing well. The bids came in less than the estimate. He stated Staff installed a culvert and grading began one week late due to the snowstorm. The contractors are having some difficulty due to the wetness, but are still on schedule. He said the electrical specifications are done and the well company began work a week ago. He explained any dollar savings must be used for putting in an entrance to the park. • Note: Report on Master Trail Plan Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos noted no formal progress has been made. He stated a LCMR Proposal has been made. It was planned this issue would be presented at neighborhood meetings at this time. He said he is involved providing monies for voluntary land acquisitions. He said Staff is monitoring the legislative process for their level of interest. He noted additional meetings will be scheduled and commissioners will be requested to be as present as possible. He said he wants to ensure the Staff and Commission are perceiving the needs correctly. He indicated external monies are important to this process. • Note: Report on River's Bend Park Improvements Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos reported the irrigation project is substantially in the ground. He said the City Council approved a conversion to provide irrigation for Solstice Park. • Note: Sunfish Business Park Dedication Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated this was a City project, and was an attachment to the March case. He said monies were received and entered in the Park Trust Fund. Commissioner Olds asked what the completion date is. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos said he thought the completion date would be in June. • Note: Master Trail Plan (LCMR Proposal) Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos pointed out the attachment to the agenda on page 55. He explained this is a proposal to see if the Legislative Committee is interested in providing City money in protecting the Trott Brook Greenway Corridor. • Note: Memorandum Regarding Park Commission's Policy Recommendations Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that policy recommendations were made as are listed on page 60 of the agenda.
