Charter Commission <br />Meeting Date: 10/21/2026 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Not Applicable <br />5. 1. <br />Title: <br />Elect Chair and Vice -Chair for 2026-2027 <br />Information <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: To elect a Chair and Vice -Chair for 2026 — 2027. <br />Background: Beginning in 2013, the Charter Commission elected to appoint a Chair and Vice -Chair for a <br />two-year period versus one year. Joe Field is the current Chair and David May is the current Vice -Chair. It is time <br />once again to elect a Chair and Vice Chair to serve in 2026 and 2027.
