Wearing a bike helmet <br />can reduce the risk of head injury by <br />85%. <br />Safe Kids Anoka County <br />wants to mal(e sure your family has <br />bil(e helmets. During the months of <br />April and May, we will be traveling <br />around the county distributing and <br />properly fitting bike helmets. The <br />cost of a stylish new Bell helmet is <br />$10 - and we are happy to fit helmets <br />you already own. Appointments are <br />NOT needed. Everyone is very happy with <br />the facility as there is plenty of room <br />to move around and lots of light. <br />Thanl( you to Dan Bray and his crew <br />for helping us get moved in. <br />In January the Ramsey Lions <br />Club donated a much needed flag to <br />us and then stayed and had lunch. <br />In February we watched <br />slides from a trip that David Nich- <br />olson took to Alaska. They were <br />wonderful. <br />In March the Ramsey <br />Women of Today will provide us <br />with a game of Bingo. Getting a little tired of the tricks that Mother Nature is <br />playing this winter? It's time to start thinking about summer fun and making plans for your kids! The Ramsey Kid's <br />Safety Camp is a great place to start the summer out safely. <br />The 6th annual Ramsey Kids Safety Camp will be held on June 19-20,2007. Camp is limited to 144 children <br />and will be filled on a first come basis. Priority registration is given to Ramsey residents and first time attendees. A <br />registration fee of $25.00 includes activities, supplies, snacks and lunches, bike helmet, t-shirt, family barbeque and <br />awards ceremony. Limited scholarships are available.
