PC CASE # <br />CONSIDER ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br />Background <br />Brian Olson was appointed Public Works Director effective March 14, 2006. Mr. Olson <br />has successfully completed his one -year probationary period and the Interim City <br />Administrator recommends retaining Mr. Olson as the full -time regular Public Works <br />Director. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the required one -year probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Brian Olson be retained as the full -time regular Public Works Director. <br />Fundini? Source <br />There are no funding implications for removing Mr. Olson from probation..
