Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />WHEREAS, Brian Olson was appointed Public Works Director on March 14, <br />2006 and was subject to a one -year probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Olson has successfully completed the required one -year <br />probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its March 27, 2007 meeting agreed <br />with staff's recommendation to end the probationary period for Brian Olson, effective <br />March 14, 2007. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Brian Olson, effective <br />March 14, 2007 and retain Mr. Olson as the full -time regular Public Works <br />Director. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27 day of March 2007. <br />G:\ Administration \HumanResources\Performance Evaluations\Ending Probation \Olson 3- 27- 07.doc <br />—136— <br />
