Boike property and staff will be bringing forward their proposal to the March 27 City Council <br />meeting. <br />Funding: <br />No. City funds will be utilized to purchase the Boike property. Costs for the purchase of the <br />property. will come from Anoka County, Federal funds, and RALF. Under this proposal, the City <br />will be paying for the Official Mapping of the Boike property, which will come from either <br />Public Works or Community Development's Professional Services 2007 budget. <br />Recommendation: <br />At the March 20 Work Session, the City Council discussed Boike property purchase and <br />directed staff to draft a letter regarding the use of RALF funds and bring forward a case to <br />authorizing the official mapping of the Boike property. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #07- 03 -XXX in authorizing the City of Ramsey to Officially Map <br />the Boike property as part of the Northwest River Crossing corridor. <br />-and- <br />Motion to enter into a contract with Bolten and Menk regarding the creation of an Official Map <br />of the Boike Property for the Northwest River Crossing corridor. <br />-and- <br />Motion to authorize the City to send a letter to Metropolitan Council indicating the City's <br />support of utilizing RALF funds currently planned for use in the Hwy. 10 corridor for the <br />purchase of the Boike property. <br />Reviewed by: <br />Interim City Administrator <br />CC: 03/27/07 <br />
