Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Haas <br />Steffen and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Review and Adopt 1999 Economic Development Authority Operating <br />Budget <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund presented the 1999 proposed Economic Development Authority <br />Budget. It includes expenditures for salary costs of various levels of City staff, costs <br />associated with the Economic Development Commissions (these costs had formally been <br />shown in the General Fund) and allowances for economic development programs, <br />including participation at the annual Game Fair, business expo, annual business <br />appreciation day and entry signs into the City. Ms. Lund also presented a resolution <br />amending the 1998 activity. This is primarily a "housekeeping" item and is done on an <br />annual basis. The projections through the end of the year are based on actual activity. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen inquired about the EDA budget, mentioning that the EDA <br />should have some input into it. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman <br />to table action on the EDA operating budget. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, <br />Zimmerman, Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Mayor Gamec to recommend Council <br />adopt the resolution amending the 1998 Economic Development Authority Operating <br />Budget. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
