He asked about programs for youth from the age of eleven years and older, and <br />if there are activities being provided to them in neighboring eommunitieg. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he is not aware whether individual responsibilities are assigned for each of the <br />Park and Recreation Commissioners. Acting Chairperson Johns stated they are not. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ostrum stated the way it is currently being handled appears to be effective. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johns concurred and noted that when certain projects have come up there is <br />usually a Commissioner that volunteers to oversee it. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec thanked the Commissioners for the work and contributions they have made on behalf <br />of the City. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rolfe reported that the Pollution Control Agency (PCA) has a major project planned <br />at the landfill. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated this is correct. He advised the City is considering having a 25 year celebration <br />and he wanted fireworks from the top of the landfill. However, the PCA has indicated this will not <br />be possible due to the project they will be undertaking. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Johns reviewed the local election result tabulations, noting Tom Gamec was <br />reelected as Mayor and Terry Hendricksen and Susan Anderson were elected to the City Council. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ostmm and seconded by Commissioner LaMere to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chair Johns, Commissioners Ostrum, LaMere, Droegemueller, <br />and Rolfe. Voting No: None.
