ROAD AND BRIDGE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Road and Bridge Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, <br />October 20, 1998, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15154 Nowthen Boulevard NW, <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Road and Bridge <br />Committee to order at 5:04 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Greg Rajanen, representing a citizen group from Rivers Bend, stated that last week they <br />presented 387 signatures on a petition to support a traffic light at #47 and 142nd. He said <br />he forgot to pick up the petition from one of the businesses with has 27 more signatures. <br /> <br />The Committee accepted the petition from Mr. Rajanen. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen felt that Flintwood 1 and Flintwood 2 would be a good area <br />to get signatures also and that maybe Super America may let the residents post something <br />in their facility. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman asked to remove Case #2: Consider Proposal to Update <br />Comprehensive Water Study, as he would like to have a better summary of the process to <br />present. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Update on Trunk Highway #47 STP Project <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski proceeded to give an update on the T.H. #47 STP Project. <br /> <br />Road and Bridge Committee/October 20, 1998 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
