ROAD AND BRIDGE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Road and Bridge Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, <br />November 17, 1998, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Couneilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Couneilmember Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Road and Bridge <br />Committee to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski noted that there are one or two residents that are interested in participating <br />in the discussion of Case #2 (Request for stop sign at 144th Lane and Tungsten Way), but <br />that they might not be on time for the meeting. <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented, but that discussion of Case #2 would <br />be taken out of order to allow more time for any affected residents to be present for the <br />Committee discussion. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Trunk Highway/t47 STP Project Update <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski recalled that the results of the public hearing indicated a desire for <br />signalizing the intersection of 142nd and Hwy. #47. A meeting has been scheduled for <br />Monday, November 23, 1998 at Mn/DOT to discuss signalization justification. Ramsey's <br />consultant has also forwarded the revised Environmental Assessment to Mn/DOT. Mr. <br /> <br /> <br />
