Chairperson Nixt asked Chad Fossum to approach the Board. He questioned if the other houses <br />in this area are set back as far as the Fossum home. <br /> <br />Mr. Fossum indicated they were not as far back. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if the building plans met all other size requirements. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon indicated they did. <br /> <br />Board Member Kociscak asked how the new structure would be entered. <br /> <br />Mr. Fossum indicated from the street, on the 40-foot side. <br /> <br />Board Member Brauer asked for confirmation that there was nowhere else on the property the <br />structure could be put. <br /> <br />Mr. Fossum indicated there was not, due to the large drain field. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if the drain field could be relocated. <br /> <br />Mr. Fossum indicated the system was only five years old. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Board Member Brauer, to adopt Resolution #03-01-001 <br />Finding of Fact #0640 relating to a request for a variance to construct an accessory structure closer <br />to the front property line than the principal structure at the property generally known as 14981 <br />Peridot Street NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Board Members Brauer, Kociscak, Reeve, Van <br />Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Johnson. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Board Member Brauer, to adopt Resolution #03-01-002 <br />approving the issuance of a variance to Chad and Melissa Fossum at 14981 Peridot Street NW to <br />construct an accessory structure closer to the front property line than the principal structure. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Board Members Brauer, Kociscak, Reeve, Van <br />Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None.
