Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Haas Steffen. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Kelly Farm Tree Planing and Environment Day <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that May 2 and 3 are the dates for the Kelly Farm Tree Planting and <br />Environment Day and Ramsey Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon has requested Council <br />attend. <br /> <br />2) No Wake - Rum River <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to schedule a <br />public hearing for 6:00 p.m., on May 26, 1998, in the Council Chambers with regard to no wake <br />zones on the Rum River. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Haas Steffen. <br /> <br />3) Becky Weiss Bike Road-eo <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the Becky Weiss Bike Road-eo is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, <br />1998. <br /> <br />4) Spring Events <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman thanked staff and the residents for making the spring events a <br />success. The events were the tree sale, recycling day and the pet clinic. <br /> <br />5) T.H. #47 <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reminded Council and the public that the T.H. #47 public hearing open house is <br />scheduled for Monday, May 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />6) Joint Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced a joint meeting scheduled with Anoka and Andover on May 13, at <br />5:30. <br /> <br />7) Work Session <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reminded Council of the work session scheduled for 6:00 p.m., May 19, <br />immediately following the Road and Bridge Committee meeting.
