Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Mayor Gamec requested that the Council receive a copy of the revised CIP in the next meeting packet. Case #9: Report from Personnel Committee 1) Adopt Updated Organizational Chart Mayor Gamec advised that a Personnel Committee meeting was held earlier this evening and they recommend the Council approve and adopt, the organizational chart as contained in the Council packet and dated June 23, 1998. Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt the organizational chart as contained in the Council packet and dated June 23, 1998. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Haas Steffen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. 2) Recommend Appointment of Corporal Police Chief Gustafson reported that the Personnel Committee recommends the Council approve the appointment of a Patrol Officer to the assignment of Corporal to be in charge of overseeing the activities of the Volunteer Public Safety Aides. Staff recommends Officer Timothy Dwyer to that position effective as soon as considered by the Council Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to appoint a Patrol Officer to the assignment of Corporal. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Haas Steffen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. 3) Recommend Appointment of Linda Mayer as Senior Accountant Mayor Gamec advised that the Personnel Committee recommends the Council appoint Linda Mayer as Senior Accountant and authorize staff.to begin the process to fill the Accounting Clerk position. Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to authorize staff to appoint Linda Mayer as Senior Accountant. Motion carried.
