The existing site access is sufficient for PageMart's needs. <br />Ms. Frolik noted that the City Council approved the proposed lease agreement with <br />PageMart at their July 28 meeting. The City will receive $1,000 per month from the <br />tenancy. There were no written or verbal comments received at the public hearing which <br />was conducted by the Planning Commission on August 4. The Planning Commission <br />and staff are recommending approval of the request. She noted that the field <br />representative for PageMart is present. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired of the PageMart rep if he has any problem with anything <br />discussed to which he replied no. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #98-08-212 adopting Findings of Fact #0471 relating to a request for a <br />conditional use permit for a personal communication system antenna on City property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and Haas <br />Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen noted there were people in the audience to hear the <br />discussion of Case #3 under the Road and Bridge Committee case which is #16 and she <br />suggested that this case be discussed at this time. <br /> <br />Case #16: Report from Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />3) Consider Acquisition of Property for 153/155 Avenue Extension <br /> Improvement Project <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the City has been approached by one of the <br />owners from whom property is required for the construction of the 153/155 Avenue <br />extension project. Due to personal circumstances, the owner (Dave Smith) would like to <br />sell the property to the City and has been waiting a number of years for the City to make <br />an offer on the property. Staff is requesting to amend the 1998 Capital Improvement <br />Program to include the 153/155 Avenue Extension from the 1999 scheduled year and that <br />staff be allowed to begin negotiations with the property owners involved.
