Case #2: Issuance of Housing and Redevelopment Bonds <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:12 p.m. in <br />order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Ruff of Ehlers and Associates, Inc. presented the bond sale report which included an <br />overview of the report, the purpose and participants, estimated sources and uses of funds, <br />structure and risks, a tentative schedule, other considerations and market conditions. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Haas <br />Steffen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at <br />7:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #98-11-279 approving the issuance by the Anoka County Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority of its Housing Development Revenue Bonds (City of Ramsey <br />unlimited tax general obligation), series 1998A in the aggregate principal amount of <br />$3,000,000 to which bonds the general obligation of the City of Ramsey is pledged and <br />authorizing execution of documents. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
