Absent: Councilmember Dehen. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec thanked Metropolitan Councilmember Haas Steffen for her work on this process. <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Vacate Easements in Gebert's Addition; Case or <br />Oakwood Land Development <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon stated Oakwood Land Development received <br />approval on February 27, 2007 to proceed with a metes and bounds subdivision related to the <br />extension of 16ih Avenue NW. As part of that process, an easement vacation is needed for <br />portions of two lots in Gebert's Addition. Mr. Trudgeon stated this ordinance was introduced on <br />February 27, 2007 and is now eligible for adoption. Later that same month, City Council authorized staff to solicit proposals for an NRI. <br />Subsequently, staff identified the following firms as potential candidates to complete an NRI: <br />Applied Ecological Services (AES), Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates (Bonestroo), <br />Brauer & Associates, and Critical Connections Ecological Services. A Request for Quotes <br />(RFQ) was sent to each of these firms in February 2007. AES and Bonestroo both expressed an <br />interest in the project and submitted proposals. The total proposed budgets to complete the NRI <br />were $25,175 and $34,646, respectively.
