Funding Source <br />The cost of changing the part-time position to full -time is approximately $13,119. (This <br />figure includes salary and benefits). There is approximately $11,500 that is remaining in <br />excess revenues from 2006. Staff proposes that the excess revenues be used to fund this <br />change in status. The remaining shortage is $1,619 and these funds could be taken from <br />the City Council Contingency fund. <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that that Personnel Committee accept staff's recommendation to <br />change the part -time status of the building maintenance worker position to full -time. <br />Committee Action: <br />Motion recommending that the City Council accept staff's recommendation to change the <br />part-time status of the building maintenance worker position to full -time. <br />PC: 04 -24 -07 <br />
