Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner LaDue, that Findings of Fact ~17 <br />indicate the use will not be maintained to be harmonious in appearance with the existing and intended <br />character of the R-1 Rural Residential District. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, LaDue, Terry, and <br />Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, that Findings of Fact #18 indicate the use will not be adequately <br />served by essential public services. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry, seconded by Commissioner Thorud, that Findings of Fact #18 <br />indicate the use will be adequately served by essential public services. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Deemer explained the property will not be adequately served by <br />essential public services because it should be in a R-2 zone where City sewer and water are available. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Terry, Thorud, and LaDue. <br />Voting No: Commissioner Deemer. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thorud, seconded by Commissioner LaDue, that Findings of Fact #19 <br />indicate the use will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost for public facilities <br />and services. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Thorud, LaDue, and Terry. <br />Voting No: Commissioner Deemer. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Terry, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the Findings of Facts as amended. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, LaDue, and <br />Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Terry, to recommend that City <br />Council deny the Simpson's request for a Conditional Use Permit based on the findings. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, LaDue, and <br />Thorud. Voting No: None.
