<br />occur and shall be removed within forty-eight (48) hours of the termination of said event. <br />A fixed fee, as established by City Council, per sign not removed within 48 hours <br />following the termination of the event will be charged and said charges will be used to <br />defray the cost of removal by the City. Number, location and size of said public event <br />signs shall be subject to the approval of the Zoning Administrator with consideration <br />given to the public safety and the signage reasonably necessary and appropriate for the <br />intended purpose. <br /> <br />9.12.06, ,District Regulations. In addition to those signs permitted or required in <br />all districts as described in ~9.12.03 (General Provisions) and ~9. I2.05 (Temporary <br />Signs), the following signs are permitted in each specific district and shall be regulated as <br />to size, location and character according to the requirements herein set forth. <br /> <br />9.12.07 <br /> <br />Residential Type Districts <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Area Identification Signs. One (1) sign per <br />vehicular access to a development, not to exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area is <br />permitted. <br /> <br />Subd.2. Temporary Signs. Temporary sIgns are permitted In <br />accordance with Section 9.12.05. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Home Occ~pation Signs. Home Occupations Signs. may <br />be permitted in accordance with Section 9.11.04 (Home Occupations) of this City Code. <br /> <br />9.12.08 <br /> <br />Business Type Districts <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. <br /> <br />Business Use Signs <br /> <br />a. Wall, Canopy or Marquee ,Sign. Total sign area may not exceed <br />fifteen percent (15%) of the front building facade. Businesses in <br />multi-tenant buildings shall be allowed the proportionate-share of the <br />total wall sign area. The total walt signage permitted may be <br />distributed on any other building' fayade. . Sign height shall not <br />exceed the top of the parapet wall or, if no parapet wall, sign height <br />shall not exceed the height ofJhe eaves. A wall, canopy or marquee <br />sign maybe located on the outermost wall of any principal building <br />but shall not project more. than sixteen (16) inches from the wall to <br />which the sign is to be affixed. The gross surface area of a wall, <br />canopy or marquee sign may be increased by ten percent (10%) if <br />such wall sign: <br /> <br />1. Consists only of individual, outlined alphabetic, numeric <br />and/or symbolic characters without background except that <br />provided by the building surface to which the sign is to be <br />affixed; and <br />
