<br />a. Temporary real estate signs may be erected for. the purpose of <br />selling, promoting or leasing a residential project of four (4) or more <br />dwelling units or any non-residential project. Temporary real estate <br />signs for the purpose of leasing, selling or promoting a residential <br />project or any non-residential project are: <br /> <br />1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements but shall be <br />allowed only as accessory to an approved subdivision plat or <br />site plan; <br /> <br />2. Limited to sixty-four (64) square feet in area; <br /> <br />3. Limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon which the <br />property abuts, exclusiye of directional signs; <br /> <br />4. To be removed when the project is one-hundred percent <br />(100%) completed, sold or leased; <br /> <br />5. Not to be located within fifty (50 feet) of a pre-existing <br />residence. <br /> <br />b. Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing <br />individual parcels or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />2. Limited to six (6) square feet in area for residential property <br />and thirty-two (32) square feet for non-residential property; <br /> <br />3. Limited to one (1) such' sign per street frontage upon which the <br />property abuts, exclusive of directional signs (Exception: An <br />additional "Open House" sign may be used); <br /> <br />4. To be removed within thirty (30) days following the lease or <br />sale. <br /> <br />Subd. 6. Portable Signs are permitted only in business and <br />industrial type districts and are subject to temporary permit and fee requirements. <br />Temporary sign permits for portable signs shall be allowed for seven (7) day periods, six <br />(6) times a year per business. However, where more than one (1) proprietorship or <br />business uses the same building or parcel, no more than two (2) portable sign devices <br />shall be in place at any one time. <br /> <br />Subd.7. Public Event Signs may be erected and maintained for a <br />period not to exceed thirty (30) days prior to the date on which the event is scheduled to <br />
