Sullivan, Economic Development Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the Business Connection Meeting on January 26th 2006 David Piggott, the Executive Director <br />of Anoka County Partners spoke to our area businesses. The message about unification of cities <br />within the Anoka County to work together resonated. Anoka County Partners will help Anoka <br />County improve its image as well as create an open forum for participating cities to discuss <br />important issues. The Partnership has created that channel of communication as well as <br />providing a forum to initiate activity that will help market Anoka County as well'as improve its <br />image. In June the website will roll out at www.anokacountypartners.com. Partners will be <br />, paying for the food for our Business Connection Meeting in May and has sent many prospects to <br />the City over the course of the past year. This growth and effectiveness of this organization is <br />dependent on the membership and leadership of the board. Attached is the work plan for Anoka <br />County Partners for your review.
