CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Acting Mayor David Elvig <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Members Absent: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Also Present: Interim City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br />Jodi Ruehle, The Tinklenberg Group <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Acting Mayor Elvig called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:23 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Update regarding City Administrator Search Process <br />Human Resources Manager Reed Kone stated staff is seeking input from the City Council on <br />several issues related to the search for a new city administrator: the proposed timeline for the <br />remainder of the search, the desired interview format, and the position description. <br />Council and staff discussed the proposed timeline for the remainder of the city administrator <br />search process. Consensus of the Council was to direct the following regarding the timeline: <br />City Council Work Session / April 24, 2007 <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
