Street and 142nd Avenue. The Committee recommended installation of a street light at this location using funds from the Priority Street Lighting Fund. -Motion by Acting Mayor Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee in Case No. 12 and to direct staff to install a traditionaire street light at the entrance to Rivers Bend Park at the corner of Waco Street and 142nd Avenue, using funds from the Priority Street Lighting Fund. Motion carried. V oting Yes: Acting Mayor Elvig, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Dehen, Look, Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT Acting Mayor Elvig announced the following events: · Employee Appreciation Breakfast: April 25th at the Ramsey Room in the Municipal Center. · Arbor Day Events including street plantings on Sunwood Drive: April 27th · Spring Recycling Day: April 28th, 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Facility · Ramsey3 Community Visioning Process: May 4th & 5th Councilmember Strommen stated the Ramsey3 community visioning process is the lead into the Comprehensive Plan. The process will only work if there are as many people present as possible. This process is unique to Ramsey. There is no set agenda and no one necessarily in charge. Those that come get to give their input. Councilmember Jeffrey stated he attended this type of session at the Technical College and the folks that were there created the agenda. He is looking forward to this process in Ramsey. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
