<br />City of Ramsey <br />Active Community Planning Proposal <br />Deadline: June 1, 2007 <br /> <br />STAFF QUALIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Breanne DaInes, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Professional Experience: Breanne has worked with the City of Ramsey for 2 years as an Associate Planner. In <br />that role, she works on reviewing development proposals for conformance with the City Code, proposed revisions <br />to the Zoning and Land Use chapters of City Code, provides the general public with assistance in zoning <br />inquiries, and is a staff liaison for the 2008 Comprehensive Plan update. <br /> <br />In previous roles, Breanne has worked as a planning intern for the City of Burnsville, conducted housing research <br />and analysis on behalf of two Minneapolis neighborhoods, and worked on a subcontractual basis with McKnight <br />foundation to facilitate a smart growth task force that examined policy initiatives for producing smart growth <br />legislation. <br /> <br />Education: Breanne received her Master's of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of <br />Minnesota, Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs in 2005. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree <br />from Augsburg College in 2003. <br /> <br />Other Affiliations: <br />Boardmember, Windom Community Council <br />Member, Minnesota American Planning Association <br />Member, Midtown Greenway Coalition <br /> <br />Mark Riverblood, Parks Supervisor <br /> <br />Professional Experience: Mark has served the City of Ramsey for 25 years which included 20 years managing <br />the public water and sewer utility, in addition to parks and public land responsibilities. Primary responsibilities <br />include; planning, directing and managing a comprehensive development program for parks, trails and public <br />spaces as well as long and short-term maintenance and operations for the park system.
