<br />City of Ramsey <br />Active Community Planning Proposal <br />Deadline: June I, 2007 <br /> <br />LETTERS OF COMMITMENT <br /> <br />The City Council has adopted a resolution in support of incorporating active living into the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />In addition, the National Park Service has scheduled the June 2008 quarterly meeting of the Trail and apenspace <br /> <br />Partnership (TaSP), meeting in Ramsey to learn about the River connection/crossing initiative. (The Tasp is a <br /> <br />consortium of private and public entities along the 72-mile Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, <br /> <br />consisting of approximately 300 representatives. At the TaSp meeting, letters of support will be requested from <br /> <br />those most benefited by the BCBS investment. Specifically, the National Park Service, Three Rivers Park District, <br /> <br />City of Champlin, City of Dayton, MNDOT, 1000 Friends of Minnesota, and Great River Greening. <br /> <br />Page 15 of 16 <br /> <br />-223- <br />
