<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:06 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Students from Elk River High School present for Government Class introduced themselves. <br />Mayor Gamec welcomed the students to the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Darrel Chapman, 14059 Argon Street NW, stated he lives on a private street and would like <br />to ask where the extra money goes that the City collects that is not being spent on street <br />maintenance or snowplowing on his street. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated in most cases they require that one street in a townhouse development be a <br />City street, but Mallard Ponds has been a challenging one for many years.
