He felt <br />that they should take more time to discuss the issue. <br /> <br />Marcy'Johnson, 690l'137' Lane NW, Ramsey, stated.that from. the plans she has seen it appeared <br />that there would be a pond directly behind her home. She inquired if there 'were. any plans to <br />secure the pond'to keep children from playing in it. Secondly, she stated that the berm that <br />currently exists between her home and proposed development is not aesthetically pleasing and <br />questioned if anything was being done with that. Her third concern had to do with traffic. She <br />stated that there is already enormous amount of traffic coming from Highway #10 onto Riverdale <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Commissioner Reeve inquired if there i's currently anything in City Code regarding the protection <br />of ponds and Principal Planner Trudgeon replied no. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski explained that ponds have to meet certain natural urban runoff criteria, <br />which have to do with the slopes of the pond. The only ponds that have been fenced are fairly <br />steep ponds. <br /> <br />Kelly Anderson, 7081 137~' Avenue NW, Ramsey, inquired as to what the price of the units <br />would be. <br /> <br />Mr. Schutte replied that the unitswould start at $145,00Q <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt questioned the pricing structure for the units. <br /> <br />Mr. Schulte explained that the units will start at $1.45,000 to $155,000 for the two bedroom units <br />and go up from there. <br /> <br />Jodi Vandecar, 6931 I37m Lane NW, Ramsey, stated that the pond in their development is.mostly <br />dry and grows over with scrub which, is not very attractive. She inquired if anything different will <br />be done with the proposed pond. <br /> <br />Dennis Griswald,.Pulte.
