! <br />! <br /> <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE #03- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE. ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.11.02 "ACCESSORY USES" OF cHAPTER <br />9 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. REPEAL <br /> <br />The following text in Section 9.11.02 is hereby repealed: <br /> <br />Subdivision 5.a: The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed tWenty-two (22) <br />feet on property outside of the Metropolitan Urban Service Area. <br /> <br />Subdivision 5.b: The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed sixteen (16) feet <br />on property inside of the Metropolitan Urban Service Area. <br /> <br />Subdivision 7: No Accessory building shall be located nearer the front lot line than the principal <br />building on that lot (this provision shall not apply to attached garages that maintain compliance <br />with the front yard setback). <br /> <br />Subdivision 9: The accessory building shall be attached to and shall be made Structurally a part <br />of the principal building if it is within five (5) feet cave to cave of the principal building. <br /> <br />, Subdivision 1 I. When detached accessory buildings are located within ten (1) feet of the Side <br />or rear wall of the principal.'buil'ding, they shall' comply with all yard requirements applicable to <br />the principal building in that district. A detached accessory building shall comply with the side <br />yard setback requirement of the principal building, or conform to adjacent setbacks, whichever is <br />greater. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Subdivision 5.a.shall be amended to read as follows: The height of detached accessory buildings <br />shall not exceed twenty-two (22) feet on parcels 2.5 acres (10'8,900 Square feet) or greater in <br />size. <br /> <br />Subdivision 5.b shall be amended to read as follows:. The height of detached aCcessorY buildings <br />shall not exceed sixteen (16) feet on parcels less than. 2.5 acres (108,900 Square feet) in size. <br /> <br />-2o5- <br /> <br /> <br />
