-22- <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Request for Maintenance of Private Street <br />The public Works Committee recommended .that the private street continue to be <br />maintained by the Rum River Homeowners Association. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Update on Highway #47 hump south of 167th Avenue NW <br />Staff reported that they had estimated the removal of the hump on T.H. #47 to be between <br />$130,000 to $150,000. The Committee suggested that perhaps.some type of sign might <br />be posted warning of the hazard. Staff suggested that funding for the removal be sought <br />through the Federal Hazard Elimination Program. Staff will report back to the <br />Committee on this matter. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Priority Streetlight at Intersection of 158th Avenue and Variolite <br />The Public Works Committee recommended that the Streetlight.at the' intersection of 158th <br />Avenue and Variolite be eliminated at the present, but that it be placed after all other <br />priority light locations have been lit. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, <br />Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Report from the Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on December 10, 2002 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Authorize Promotion of Police Patrol Officer Thom:as' Lueck to the Position of <br />Police Corporal <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-12- <br />313 authorizing the promotion of Police Patrol Officer Thomas Lueck to the position of <br />full-time Police Corporal. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, t° ratify the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
