By
recognizing that peak demand occurs at different times for
different land uses, shared, parking facilities help minimize
the amouni of land and expense devoted.to parking lots or
garages. The Urban Land Institute's Shared parking
Standards (cited-below), or equivalent, shall be used to
calculate the total number of shared parking spaces. To
determine shared parking demand, two or more uses would
be added for each hour of the day, for both weekdays and
for Saturdays, to see which hour produces the highest
parking demand.

The following steps shall be used to determine the- required
minimum number of spaces for mixed-use areas.

Note the peak hour demand (above) parking-space
requirements for each individual 'land use.

Town Center District - ,lan.
