PC CASE # 2 <br /> <br /> RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT RESIGNATION OF FULL-TIME HUMAN <br /> RESOURCES MANAGER AND RATIFY INTERIM HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> MANAGER <br /> By: Heidi Nelson, Assistant City Administrator <br />Background: <br /> <br />On December 26th, 2002, Patrick Leadens submitted his resignation with an immediate <br />effective date. As a result of Mr. Leadens' resignation, the position of Human Resources <br />Manager will be vacant. Staff has been utilizing the services of Curt Boganey as an <br />Interim HR Manager to assist with work in the HR Office. Staff is also currently in <br />discussions with former HR Manager Rhonda Heryla to assess her interest in returning to <br />the position of HR Manager. Staff will continue to update Council regarding the progress <br />of those discussions. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council adopt a resolution accepting Patrick Leadens' <br />resignation from the position of Human Resources Manager effective.
