The Minnesota Transportation Alliance is Minneso.ta's .leading highway and transportation advocacy group, we are the largest and broadest coalition of transportation orgamzations in the state, and we serve as a strong voice for a quality, multi-modal, statewide transportation system. At the Alliance, we believe that an adequate transportation system, supported by a stable funding source, is vital to Minnesota's economic health,, as well to the quality of life within our state. We work hard to keep lawmakers informed of the state's transportation needs, and to keep our members informed of the latest funding and policy developments at both the state and national level. In addition, the Alliance works closely with the Transportation Policy Institute (TPI) to ensure that important research is conducted and the results and analysis widely distributed. We pr/de ourselves on being "the" source of transportation information with a. wide variety of member publications as well as an effective web site offering accurate and up-to-date news and analysm. The Alliance also provides a series of annual events designed to bring together members of the transportation, community from across the state, and to offer participants face-to-face access to key lawmakers. Because of/ts efforts, the Alliance is highly regarded by the state's transportation community, the state'leg/slature, government agencies, and Minnesota's .cOngressional delegation.
