-154- Councilnmmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION RE-APPOINTING TOM LAMERE TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION WHEREAS, The city Council adopted an ordinance in 1997 limiting commission members to two (2) consecutive four year terms plus any incomplete partial term; and WHEREAS, Mr. Lamere has served on the Parks and Recreation Commission since August, 1995 in a partial term, one two year term and one four year term; and WHEREAS, The reappointment of Mr. Lamere will provide him with a second and final four year term; and WHEREAS, Mi'. Lamere has stated his interest in re-apPointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to re-appoint Mr. Tom Lamere to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a second four year term of 11/01/02-10/3 t-06. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: mid the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 26th day of January 2003.
