I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #03- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN' AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.11.02 "ACCESSORY USES" OF CHAPTER <br />9 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. REPEAL <br /> <br />Paragraphs a. and b. of Subdivision 5, and SUbdivisions 7, 9 and 11 of Section 9.11.02 are <br />repealed in their entirety. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 9.11.02 "Accessory Use" is amended as follows: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> Subd. 5., paragraph a., paragraph b., and paragraph c., are amended to <br />provide as follows: <br /> <br /> Subd. 5. <br /> <br /> a. The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed twenty, <br /> two (22) feet on parcels 2.5 acres (108,900 square feet) or greater in <br /> size. <br /> <br /> b. The height of detached accessory buildings shall, not exceed sixteen <br /> (16) feet on parcels less than 2.5 acres (108;900 Square feet) in size. <br /> <br /> c. The height of attached accessory buildings shall not exceed the height <br /> of the principal structure. A variance will be required to exceed the <br /> · established height restrictions for accessory buildings: The variance <br /> shall be processed in accordance with the procedures established in <br /> Section 9.03.05 of the City Code. Criteria governing consideration of a <br /> variance request to exceed height restrictions on accessory buildings <br /> shall include, but not be limited to the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Whether the variance will impair an adequate supplY of light and air <br /> to adjacent property. <br /> <br /> 2. Whether the variance will have the effect of allowing a use that is <br /> prohibited in the applicable zoning district. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />-71- <br /> <br /> <br />
