AMENDMENT The following Sections/subsections are amended as provided below: 2.03.01 "Establislunent," 2.03.02 "Appointment of Members, Terms of Office and Removal" 2.03.03 "Organization, Meetings, Etc." 2.03.06 "Duties, Responsibilities and Objectives" 2.04 "The Board of Building Appeals" 2.03.01 Establishment. Subdivision 1. Boards and Commissions is amended by deletion of the terms "Economic Development Commission" and ,'Board of Building Appeals." 2.03.02 Appointment of Members, Terms of Office and Removal is amended by an amendment to Subdivision 1 and the addition of Subd. 7. as follows: Subdivision 1. Nine Voting Members and Residence Requirement. Membership of various boards and commissions shall not exceed nine members; at least two-thirds of which shall be residents of the City of Ramsey. Members shall represent a broad range of interest in functions of the City. Subd. 7. Removal. Code of Conduct: It is the policy of the City of RamSey to maintain a respectful public service environment free from violence, discrimination, unlawful activities relating specifically to the Boards or' Commission members role with the City, and other Offensive or degrading remarks or conduct. Any Board or Commission member found to have acted in violation of this policy shall be subject to appropriate disciplinarY action, which may include dismissal from the Board or Commission. , 1. Expected Conduct of Board and Commission M~mbers in General Board and Commission members shall conduct themselves at all times in such a maimer as to reflect most favorably onthe City. Conduct unbecoming a Board or Commission member shall include any conduct that tends to bring the City into disrepute or reflects discredit on the person as a Board or Commission member of the City, or that which tends to impair the functioning of a Board or Commission member. -163-
