Goodrich, CitY Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the January 28, 2003 meeting, the City Council introduced an ordinance authorizing the sale <br />of Outlot A, AEC Energy Park Fourth Addition, which is located adjacent to the Anderson and <br />Dahlen facility on Sunwood Drive. As Council is aware, Knoll Properties, LLC, the real estate <br />holding company for Anderson and Dahlen, Inc. was granted an option by the City to buy Outlot <br />A as part of the 1999 TIF agreement between the City and Knoll Properties. That buy option <br />expired on December 31, 2002, and it was not exercised by Knoll. Properties. A notice of sale <br />has been published in the Anoka County Union.requesting. purchase proposals. By adopting the <br />ordinance, the City will be declaring Outlot A surplus property and it can.then be sold on the <br />terms and conditions the Council deems in the best interest to the City.
