-260- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORiZING TRANSFER OF EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT <br />FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A NEW FAX MACHINE FOR CITY HALL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current fax machine at City Hall was purchased in 1994.and is <br />experiencing frequent problems in its operation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has researched repair and replacement options; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, given the improvements in fax machine technology over the past <br />decade, staff recommends replacing the fax machine. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the CitY of Ramsey authorizes the transfer of $1500 from <br /> the Equipment Replacement Fund for the purposes of purchasing a new fax <br /> machine for City Hall. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 11th day of February 20031 <br /> <br /> <br />
