Please tell me that this is just an. <br />oversight. <br /> <br />I am adamantly opposed to the use of the said land as anything Other than that which it <br />has already been grandfathered in as. The land is already being used on a commercial <br />base, which was without notice to the neighborhood, other than that of a gun club. I feel <br />this is in violation of the regulations and agreement for our city-and area. Or is the <br />Interim Permit for, something that it is already being used for without a permit? Either <br />way I feel that neither should be allowed and has already lowered the land value in the <br />area. <br />There have already been conversions with regards to the safety of our drinking water in <br />the area due to possible oil and/or fuel-spillage with the current uses of the Gun Club. I <br />am told that this aqua vein is also the same vein that serves one of the City of Ramsey's <br />pumping stations. ' <br /> <br />This area has/had been designated as rural residential and SHOULD NOT be allowed to <br />change. The added traffic along with the speed limit on Variolite Street IS a safety hazard <br />to children and pedestrians. The road Shoulders of Variolite have been designated as bike <br />and wa/king paths. Allowing for commercial use in the area will constitute a safety <br />hazard for those trying to get to Central Park and throughout the neighborhood by .any <br />other means than vehicle. Any pedestrian accident on this road will be considered to be <br />the responsibility of this current commission. <br /> <br />Respectfully, <br />James M.
