-208-

Ramsey Planning Commission
15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W.
Rarnsey, MN 55303

To all Members of the Plarming Commission:

We are writing to you regarding the plan for the Village of sunfish Lake.7 Our'
home is at 6121 145th Lane N.W., and we back up to the proposed
development. We feet this plan is a very nice addition to the area, but we
have two main concerns. The fzrst is with the walking trail and the second is
with the pond, .

In regards to the walking trail, we told TOdd Allen Homes we did-NOT want
it. Several other neighbors expressed the same viewpoint to take it out of the
plan. Todd Alien Homes red lined the trail at the neighborhood meeting and
said that it would be NO PROBLEM TO REMOVE' TILE, PATH!!!

At the last City CounCil's work session, the path still remains bekind our
home going West towards Sunfish Lake Blvd. and follows Sunwood Drive.
As you know, there is a sidewalk on the other side of Sunwood Drive
already, therefore, there is no need for another one.

We have a gazebo/_n the Northwest corner of our lot, and we do not want
people walking right past us. Furthermore, we do not want to have dogs*
barking at us as they are passing by: We spend a lot of time in our baCkyard
with our children, and do not want the worry of an unleashed dog coming
into our yard threatening our kids or doing its business. We also have a nice
play area with an Intex pool that we do not want other ch/ldrento be enticed
by and therefore, create a possible liability issue.

In regards to.the second issue of the pond, the frrst plan had only one pond on
the West corner of 145th Lane and Sunwood Drive. There also was a second
pond on the Northern edge of the development.

I
!
I
I
I
I
I
i
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
