-270- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 03-01-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME <br /> ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Heidi Nelson was hired as a full-time Assistant City Administrator <br />for the City of Ramsey and began work on FebrUary 19, 2002, subject to a one-year <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Heidi Nelson has successfully completed her probationary period in <br />an exemplary manner and her performance was documented by the City Administrator; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it should be noted that during Ms. Nelson's firs year, she received <br />recognition from the Minnesota Association of Urban Management Assistants as <br />"Assistant of the Year"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its February 25, 2003 meeting agreed <br />with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for the full-time Assistant <br />City Administrator effective February 19, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Assistant City <br />Administrator, Heidi Nelson, effective FebrUary 19, 2003. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 25th day of February 2003, <br /> <br /> <br />
