RESOLUTION # 03-02-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO SEEK REQUEST FOR <br /> PROPOSALS FOR A 2003-2004 POLICE TOWING CONTRACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the police department has shown justification for this need; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the police department has developed a Request for Proposal document outlining minimum <br />terms and conditions, meeting cmTent state and federal case laws; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff is requesting authorization to seek Request for Proposals from interested area vendors. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the Police Department, under the direction of the City <br />Attorney, to seek Request for Proposals from interested towing vendors with the intended purpose of <br />retaining a service to provide police towing, impound and storage of motor vehicles for a one (1) - <br />two (2) year period. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly Seconded by C0uncilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> <br />The following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />And the following voted against: <br /> <br />And the following abstained: <br /> <br />And the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the RamseY City COuncil this <br />of 2002. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />-94- <br /> <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
