-176- <br /> <br />The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on February 6 and several residents were <br />opposed to the request based on the potential noise nuisance and interruption to flow of traffic on <br />Variolite caused by slow moving dump trucks. The Planning Commission recommended denial of <br />Mr. Bauer's request. <br /> <br />The City Council met on February 25 to review the request. At that time, City Staff Was directed to <br />draft findings of fact to support approval of the request. Council's direction was based on the fact. <br />that Able Paving has been leasing the site, virtually unnoticed, for 2 years.
