The City has enacted an ordinance that requires an elevation survey at the time of <br />footing inspection to ensure compliance with the approved grading plan. <br /> <br />Current City code requires that contour lines must be shown for every one-foot when grading <br />is. proposed that is less than 2%. It also requires a certificate of survey be required on those <br />lots that have proposed slopes less than 2%. This certificate must be received before a <br />certificate of occupancy is issued. Grading of less than '1% is unacceptable. <br /> <br />City code also requires a table be provided by the applicant that specifies house type, garage <br />elevation, minimum floor elevation, lowest opening elevation, street centerline grade, 100- <br />year flood elevation, and back yard and front yard slopes. This table did not include the front <br />and rear yard slopes. Once complete, include on the grading plan and submit to the City <br />Engineer in Excel format in digital form. <br /> <br />Show all drainage and utility easements on the grading and drainage plan. <br /> <br />Block 1' <br />· The pond that is created by the <br /> <br /> 100-year flood must be protected (to elevation 886 <br /> contour) by a drainage and utility easement in cooperation with the existing <br /> landowner.(J..L. Abrahamson). <br />· City code requires all lots to have a minimum of 1% grade. Lot 3, 8 & 9 are proposed <br /> to be final graded less than 1%. Please revise. <br />· Grading less than 2% requires a certificate of occupancy. Eastern pr6perty lines of <br /> Lots 7-9 are proposed to be graded with a slope less than 2%. <br />· ' Incorrect Lot comer elevation on Lot 6 - NE comer <br /> <br />Block 2: <br />· Lots 1 - 3 are proposed with slopes less than 2% and will require certificates of <br /> grading prior to issuance of certificate of occupancy. <br />· Lots 6 - 8 are proposing side yard grades along the property line less than <br /> 1%. Revise contours to reflect positive drainage along property line. <br /> <br />Block 3: <br />· None <br /> <br />Block 4: <br />· Missing an 882 contour on Lot 6 <br />· Grading is proposed on Lot 1 & 2 that is less than 1%.
