Look for this to run on your local <br />cable channel. The Business Appreciation Day will be on August 21, 2007 at the -Links at <br />Northfork. Detail of the event will be discussed in a case this meeting. <br /> <br />Community Revitalization Proiects <br /> <br />5175 142nd Avenue NW: Nothing newto report. <br /> <br />14050 Basalt Street: Staff will continue to work with Ace Solid Waste for development of the <br />site. A draft purchase agreement was submitted to staff in late January. Once the terms of this <br />purchase agreement are agreed upon the closing will occur very soon. Staff anticipates this <br />project to close no later than June 30, 2007. <br /> <br />14230 Basalt St NW: Building has been demolished and the site has been cleared. <br />Staff is now marketing the property for development. <br /> <br />6590 141 st Avenue: Demolition is. complete and the site will be marketed for development. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />Ramsey Crossings: The City was unable to negotiate a deal with a developer to proceed with the <br />Ramsey Crossings Project. Patrick Trudgeon, the Community Development Director, will beat <br />the meeting to give an update. <br /> <br />Town Center: Coinmunity Development Director Trudgeon will give an update at the meeting. <br /> <br />Additional Parcels Identified for Acquisition: Settlements for Eugene Brown and Sparkle Pool <br />have been reached. The City is conducting the final environmental analysis and should have the <br />properties purchased by July. A settlement for KIH has not been reached but it should be <br />completed prior to the end of July. <br /> <br />Hwv 47/167th Commercial Node: Staff has had dialogue with Bob and Greg Mueller of the <br />Commercial Corner. A meeting is being set up with all the owners when they are all available. <br />Scheduling has been difficult due to the fact that the owners have been on vacations at different <br />times. It is realistic to assume that a meeting will have taken place prior to the July EDA <br />meeting. Staffwill contact a few EDA members to attend this meeting.\ <br /> <br />Bunker Lake Blvd / Hwy 47 Median: Landmark bank sent a survey out to the business impacted <br />by the construction of the median on Bunker Lake Boulevard between Hwy 47 and Dysprosium <br />St. The survey asked the businesses to assess the impact the median has had on their business. <br />Attached are the results of that survey and comment from Landmark Bank and according to the <br />businesses it is quite apparent that the median has been a detriment to business. The City and <br />County officials will be meeting to discuss the Sunfish Lake Blvd project on June 26.
