<br />CASE # <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />CONSIDER RECEIVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IP 06-22 <br />By: Leonard Linton, Civil Engineer II <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Ramsey Town Center Master Development Agreement assigned responsibility for <br />construction of certain roads to the Master developer and other roads to the City. The <br />City is responsible for construction of Civic Center Drive from Sapphire Street to <br />Rhinestone Street and Rhinestone Street from Civic Center Drive to Sunwood Drive. <br />The City has received a preliminary plat from the Anoka County Medical Examiner's <br />Office for a new office building on the east side of Rhinestone Street. They are <br />proposing to start construction of the building in the spring of2008. The City sent a <br />letter stating the street improvements would begin upon completion of the Development <br />Agreement for the project. Completion of the Development Agreement is progressing; <br />however, the timing may not permit construction of the street improvements this year. <br />The County is preparing a letter guaranteeing the project will be built so that the street <br />improvements can be constructed. <br /> <br />Preparation ofthe plans and specifications was authorized in2006. Hakanson Anderson <br />and Associates prepared the plans and specifications then the project was suspended due <br />to the changing housing market in 2006. The plans have been completed and are ready to <br />. be advertised for bids.
