I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 03-05- A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS ESTABLISHED IN THE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR PHASE II (TRANSFER STATION) OF ACE SOLID WASTE'S FACILITY. WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council (the "City'-') approved a Development Permit for ACE Solid Waste on April 25, 2000 and May 23, 2000 on the property generally known as 6601 McKinley Street and legally known as: Lot 2, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISON NUMBER 30, except the southwesterly 80 feet thereof, subject to easements of record, Anoka County, Minnesota ("the site") and WHEREAS, the Development Permit requires construction of Phase I to be completed by May 30, 2001 and construction of Phase II to be completed by May 30, 2003; and WHEREAS, ACE Solid Waste has satisfied the requirements for construction of Phase I and has not initiated construction of Phase II; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a letter from the Permit Holder's Business Manager requesting a one year extension to the May 30, 2003 Phase I construction timeline established in the Development Permit. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That a one year extension to May 30, 2004, is herein granted to the Permit Holder to complete the required improvements for Phase II (transfer station): The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: -201-
