-298- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PAID ON-CALL FIRE FIGHTERS WHEREAS, several paid on-call fire fighters began working for the City May 9, 2002 and were subject to a one-year probationary period; and WHEREAS, the fire fighters have completed the required one-year probationary period and the necessary training; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its May 13, 2003 meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for Timothy Bergerson, Chad Fossum, Daniel Johnson, Matthew Kohner, Dustin Lemke, Roger Peterson, David Rollins and Brian Wetterlind, effective May 9, 2003. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Timothy Bergerson, Chad Fossum, Daniel Johnson, Matthew Kohner, Dustin Lemke, Roger Peterson, David Rollins and Brian Wetterlind, effective May 9, 2003. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of May, 2003.
